Please read these conditions carefully as they, together with the specific information about your confirmed transfer, form the basis of your contract with us detailed on your confirmation email.
Any references to 'we', 'us' or 'our' refer to Family Transfers. Any references to "you" and "your" and ‘passenger(s)’ include the first named person on the booking and all persons on whose behalf a booking is made or any other person to whom a booking is transferred.
A contract between us and you exists once payment has been made to us. All journeys must be pre-paid. Our drivers do not accept money. No contract will exist until all monies have been received by us in full.
Where a booking is made by telephone, the booking is subject to, and the client accepts, our Terms and Conditions.
We are entitled to refuse any booking made by you and if we are unable to confirm your booking we will inform you by email or telephone.
If you need to amend or cancel your booking details, you should do so online or by emailing us, at firstname.lastname@example.org or calling 020 8704 5210.
All cancellations received with 48 hours notice or less will incur a 100% cancellation charges.
Amendments can be made directly to us at, email@example.com at least 48 hours before your transfer date within UK office hours only.
For booking amendments, we cannot guarantee that all changes will be possible, due to matters such as availability, but we will always attempt to secure your requirement for you.
There will be no cancellation charge if a cancellation is communicated to us 48 hours prior to the first transfer and you will receive a full refund. All cancellations received with 48 hours notice or less will incur a 100% cancellation charge.
We reserve the right to refuse to carry any person who is thought to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs and/or whose behaviour is considered to pose a threat to the driver, the vehicle or the other passenger(s).
Passengers are not allowed to take onto vehicles any alcoholic drinks for the purpose of consuming them in vehicles.
Smoking is not permitted in vehicles.
In the event of any passenger being asked to leave a vehicle, we will not be liable for the refund of any journey in this circumstance.
It remains the lead passenger´s full responsibility to ensure the seats are anchored correctly and the straps are properly locked and adjusted.
Our vehicles are fully insured for passenger and third party claims. Whilst every care is always taken however, your property is carried entirely at your own risk and no responsibility can be accepted for loss or damage. Clients are therefore advised to check that their own travel insurance covers such damage and/or losses.
We will use every reasonable means to ensure that the vehicle(s) arrives on time to begin the transfer and that it reaches its destination on time. We will not incur any liability whatsoever in the event of any delay due to causes beyond our control.
The following are examples of circumstances which are not within our control: accidents causing delays to the vehicle, vehicle breakdown, restricted vehicular access, exceptional or adverse weather conditions, compliance with requests of the police, vandalism and terrorism, unforeseen traffic delays, industrial action by third parties, problems caused by other clients, the vehicle being held or delayed by a police officer or government official, other circumstances affecting passenger safety.
If we fail for any reason within our control to deliver our passengers to their confirmed destination on their confirmation email, we will provide suitable alternative transport to carry its clients to their stated destination on their confirmation. Any reimbursement made by us for the costs of an alternative means of transport incurred by the passenger to get to their confirmed destination shall be no more than the cost of getting to that destination by taxi.
Where, the client has failed to provide complete and correct information, we shall have no liability in the operation of any service provided.
We strongly advise you to arrange appropriate travel insurance and ‘supplier failure’ insurance to cover you for a comprehensive range of events. It is your responsibility to ensure that the insurance cover you purchase is suitable and adequate for your particular needs.
These terms and conditions are governed by English law and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute or claim arising out of it.
